HP Slate Look-alike Spotted in China
Saturday, 24 July 2010
The Chinese can produce almost anything, and when it comes to HP’s latest Slate, apparently, the Chinese did a pretty good job in producing a look-alike, which looks pretty much the same as the Slate. Of course, this particular 10-inch tablet features a Windows 7 operating system, and it comes with a very good resistive multitouch display unit that has 1366 x 768 pixel resolution as well.

And apparently, the Chinese slate also comes with a webcam, and it can handle complex Chinese characters through the resistive multitouch functionality. On the other hand, the tablet is powered by the 1.66GHz Atom N450 processor, and users will also have access to USB port, both the normal and mini version, 3.5mm headphone jack, LAN port, VGA port, WiFi, 3G, and even Bluetooth connectivity.

Personally, I find this tablet to offer extraordinary features, and I also believe that it is indeed much better than HP’s Slate, don’t you think so?

Maternity Clothes
Saturday, 24 July 2010
A close friend of mine recently told me that she’s 5 months pregnant and I immediately thought of heading to the nearest mall to get her some maternity clothes. Well I believe that my friend should wear some comfortable clothes, as clearly, she’ll be spending the next 4 months together with her baby and comfortable clothes should help her enjoy her journey. On the other hand, I’m also shopping for some maternity clothes through the internet, as I find such shopping method to be very convenient indeed. In fact, online shopping offers many perks, such as saving the shopper time from running around the local store to search for an item. Also, I like to browse through the online web catalog, whereby I can easily flip through the pages to search for the right maternity clothes. To tell you the truth, I’m searching for stylish yet comfortable maternity clothes, as my friend loves fashion and I’m sure she’ll appreciate the stylish maternity clothes that I am about to buy for her. And apparently, if I purchase maternity clothes through the internet, most web retailers will even ship my order for free, which is beneficial to a busy person like me. Online shopping anyone?

China Happy with Google Latest Tweaks
Friday, 23 July 2010
Earlier, Google was fuming mad over China’s policies, which restricts the search engine’s overall business operations. In fact, Google has earlier threatened to pull out from China, as they no longer could tolerate the Chinese law and dictum. Generally, Google has provided a link out from its local .cn search engine, whereby this particular link redirects users to the .hk web portal.

But recently, it seems that Google has done several tweaks to their Chinese search engine, and officials have stated that China is somewhat satisfied with Google latest round of changes.

Personally, I don’t think that Google is foolish enough to pull out from the gigantic Chinese market, as such moves would surely make Google loose several hundreds of millions of potential revenue generated from the market segment. Furthermore, Chinese surfers are increasing tremendously over time, whereby it has been estimated that China has 300 million internet surfers, which is truly lucrative for Google.

Detour Bars
Friday, 23 July 2010
I like to exercise on a regular basis, and my exercising regime requires me to consume the right type food so that my body will have all the necessary building materials for my muscles to grow larger. In fact, my personal nutritionist has told me that I should increase my protein consumption, as my muscles need the respective nutrient in order to grow at a faster pace. There are so many ways to in increase one’s protein intake, such as to consume protein tablets, protein milk shakes, and protein bars work like a charm too. Personally, I like to eat protein bars like Detour Bars, as these bars can help me reduce my hunger, and it can also supplement the right amount of protein into my diet. Also, protein bars are inexpensive to purchase, and most food manufacturers are offering attractive rates for bulk purchases as well. Furthermore, food manufacturers have included several flavoring for these protein bars, such as chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, peanut, cream, fudge, lemon, caramel, oatmeal, strawberry, raspberry, almonds, and many more. Do take note that most protein bars have very low caloric count, which is also ideal for someone who is on a strict diet. Protein bars anyone?

ASUS Eee Pad EP101TC
Friday, 23 July 2010
Microsoft might have huge plans for their Windows 7 platform, whereby the respective operating system is set to take over the PC market, as well as the mobile phone industry as well. However, it seems that the buzz generated by Microsoft earlier over their upcoming Windows Embedded Compact 7 is slowly dying down, whereby more PC manufacturers are opting for the Android OS instead.

And take a look at ASUS’ latest Eee Pad EP101TC, apparently, the company has dumped their original plan of using the Windows Embedded Compact 7 as its operating system, whereby ASUS now wants to outfit their rig with the Android OS, particularly the Froyo variant. On the other hand, with Google disclosing that they might also introduce Gingerbread (Android 3.0) soon, I’m sure ASUS might also want to get their hands on this particular OS as well.

I’m guessing that more information would be available in the upcoming CES 2011, don’t you think so?

Watermelon Cooler Push Cart
Friday, 23 July 2010
Summer is hot and the Japanese is crazy. And when it comes to cooling one’s watermelon, apparently, consumers can now opt to cool down their watermelon using the watermelon push cart. In fact, the watermelon push cart is solely designed to cool ‘one’ watermelon, whereby you can lug the cart along whenever you go.

On the other hand, this particular device is exclusively available for the Japanese, which sends a strong message that the Japanese likes their watermelons every much. Originally dreamed up by a farmer in North Carolina, I believe that the farmer’s ideas have reached a whole new level with the invention of the watermelon cooler push cart.

Well I’d certainly would like to purchase one of these push carts, provided that I have ¥19,950, or $231 to spend, and I must be living in Japan in order to gain access to the cooler.

Take a closer look at the watermelon cooler push cart:
