Here is my own view on why the US economy is performing badly:

1. War on Iraq, Afghanistan and previous wars led by US is simply too extravagant and that they are spending money that they don’t even have in their country – it’s like printing more cash just to pay for their war bill

2. Nobody supported the war and thus if you can’t stop US from invading Iraq and not wanting to leave, you suppress them through their currency

3. Booming market in China whereby they have over 1.2 billion people in their country means one thing – cheap labor and huge market made the US economy somewhat small.
