 We might enter the next great depression – or not. Well at least Sony Ericsson is clearing up their staff by firing 450 employees at their North American headquarters. I’m pretty sure that the employee laid-off scheme is aimed at trimming their workforce so that they are more competitive financially.
450 might sound small – but if you consider that their facility has a total work force of 750 employees – it’s firing more than half of your people!

 Toshiba releasing their new Dynabook and for those who loves pink – it comes in pink variant as well! This little baby is tough – it comes packed with 1280 x 800 display, a 1.2GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, up to 3GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD or 160GB standard hard drive, 802.11b/g/n, and a handful of the expected ports.
The display is pretty small though – it’s a 12.1 incher. On the other hand, don’t expect Toshiba so sell this baby cheap – it has a €1200 price tag.
