It's amazing in what you can do in Second Life - you can create your own world. Well I found another great movie clip on YouTube showing a RSS room where you can use it to view the latest news on your Second Life software.

I don't think you can do that in the real world - at least if you want it badly, it will cost you lots of money. I also think that the designs of the RSS room is great! Watch the video and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Not sure whether this is a RSS reader or not but it sure functions like one. It's called IBM developerWorks which is available on the iPhone. It does have similar traits in an iPhone. For example,

1. You'll see headings on your developerWorks which you click and select the topic which interests you

2. When you click on the topic, you'll see a brief overview of the article itself

3. When you click on the link, you'll be redirected to the site itself

Yeap it's crucial to get your RSS Feed up and running as even new phones come with a RSS reader. For example I am currently using this Sony Ericsson W610i and it does have a RSS reader built in the phone.

I think that it's crucial that you view this RSS monetization video. We want to make money online right? I hope that that would be our common goal.

There are two parts in this video - one which is related and another is not.

1. First of all, you can actually promote affiliate marketing in your RSS Feed and start make money out of it. Affiliate marketing is a great way in making money online and it's really simple.

example - you place your link in your post, someone clicks on it and purchase something. Because that customer was referred by your link, you earn a commission.

Simple as that right?

2. This guy created a video and uploaded it into YouTube with the objective of promoting his own product. Pretty clever right? He just wants traffic, so maybe you can follow what he is doing.

1. Enable your RSS Feed (that's what this site is all about)

2. Use traffic exchange sites such as AdsenseEliteTeam.com, TrafficSwarm, WebMasterQuest, TrafficPods, and many more. Remember to disable your Google Adsense when using these traffic exchange sites as it might infringe Google's policy

3. Do link exchange

4. Use viral marketing like free viral (browse Google for Free Viral)

5. Place comments and build relationships with other blogs

6. Use Google Adwords

7. Do a list and ask everyone to upload this list with your links into their site

8. Add your site to a good directory

Here are some basic guidelines on how to make money online. Of course I assume that you do have a blog (either with your own domain or blogspot is also fine) and have a little technical knowledge. To be accepted into paid blogging programs you'll need to fulfill these basic criteria:

1. Your blog must be at least 1 to 3 months old

2. Have an acceptable Alexa ranking - below 1 million preferable, or better, below 500k is ideal

3. It would be an added advantage if you have your own domain and a minimum PR or 3 or better

4. Indexed in Google, Yahoo, MSN

5. Some minor requests depending on which paid blogging program that you are talking about

If you fulfill these criteria, your blog would most likely be approved and you can start making money online. Majority of these paid blogging programs pay using PayPal only so it would be a disadvantage for countries that do not have PayPal. Read online on how you can overcome this problem.

Your RSS Feed can be real handy if you are able to put in audio and video inside it. Normally it will only appear a few lines of text to highlight what the content is all about but it doesn't really show any graphics or audio or video that is contained inside your RSS.

I believe that if you are able to incorporate audio or video into your RSS - it will be a bonus to your subscribers. All your subscribers need to do is to log in to their RSS reader and view the video there. As simple as that.
