Archaeologists Find New Structure at Stonehenge |
The Stonehenge is dated back to the Neolithic period, between 2,000 to 4,000 years ago. In fact, the Stonehenge continues to puzzle scientists around the world, as this marvelous architecture remains a mystery to the modern world.
Nevertheless, archeologists have recently discovered some new structure at the Stonehenge, whereby they found a wooden version of the Stonehenge at the same site. Project leader Vince Gaffney who is leading the project at the respective site, mentioned that the discovery is simply remarkable.
According to Gaffney, he also added that this particular wooden structure also dated back to the same period that the Stonehenge was constructed. He said that both the structure might be built at the same time.
In fact, Gaffney also mentioned that this might be the first major ceremonial monument that has been found in the past 50 years or so.
