China Happy with Google Latest Tweaks
Earlier, Google was fuming mad over China’s policies, which restricts the search engine’s overall business operations. In fact, Google has earlier threatened to pull out from China, as they no longer could tolerate the Chinese law and dictum. Generally, Google has provided a link out from its local .cn search engine, whereby this particular link redirects users to the .hk web portal.

But recently, it seems that Google has done several tweaks to their Chinese search engine, and officials have stated that China is somewhat satisfied with Google latest round of changes.

Personally, I don’t think that Google is foolish enough to pull out from the gigantic Chinese market, as such moves would surely make Google loose several hundreds of millions of potential revenue generated from the market segment. Furthermore, Chinese surfers are increasing tremendously over time, whereby it has been estimated that China has 300 million internet surfers, which is truly lucrative for Google.
