JVC 5kg 32-inch LCD to be the lightest and greenest PDF Print E-mail

Well, Victor Company of Japan, Limited (JVC) is delighted to publicize that they has developed next-generation super-thin LCD technology for 32-inch television displays. JVC swears its CES model will be the lightest 32-inch LCD out, weighing a simple 5kg it’s great for ceiling mounted installations. The considerable decrease in thickness and weight allow greater flexibility for the business and domestic illustration environments.

By integrating a new visual structure and modular LCD production, JVC expertise has made possible the company's thinnest and lightest LCD television display at just 11lbs (5kg) in weight and 28 inch (7mm) in depth. At 7mm thick they've managed to press 1080p resolution and LED backlighting out of 50% of the equipment and less mercury used to generate up to date designs.

For more information: JVC will be exhibiting a 32-inch LCD TV model outfitted with the technology at a confidential venue in Las Vegas, Nevada from Wednesday, January 7 through Saturday, January 10. The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world's biggest residence electronics fair, is also held at this time.
