 NVIDIA has slashed its price on its GeForce GTX 260 and 280 graphics in order to compete with their arch-rival, AMD’s ATI Radeon 4850 and 4870 cards. I’ve always been a big fan for NVIDIA and I’m pretty sure with the price cut, I’d be ready with my credit card to buy it once the stores reduce price.
Apparently, with the 216 Core, you can slap two of these graphics together to give you better performance. With the GTX 260 selling at $279, I’m sure that it’s a real bargain.
