Qualcomm $150 Smartphones |

Apparently, Qualcomm is coming out with their revolutionary smartphone chip which could lead to cheaper smartphones – as inexpensive as $150 bucks per piece! On the other hand, the specs for their handset are pretty decent as well, such as below:
600MHz CPU
HSDPA / HSUPA radios
400MHz modem processor
320MHz application DSP
Hardware-accelerated 3D graphics
Bluetooth 2.1
GPS
What’s even more appealing is the fact that all of the above mentioned specifications would fit into a tiny 12mm x 12mm chipset. On the other hand, it will also come with an 8 megapixel camera and 30 FPS WVGA encoding / decoding.
I’m sure that plenty of developers would want to get their hands on this smartphone!
