It’s official – Sony will be unleashing their much anticipated Sony Alpha A55 and A33 DSLRs in as early as this October! Basically, both the Sony Alpha A55 and A33 will feature Sony’s brand new Translucent Mirror Technology, whereby this particular technology is set to revolutionize the entire DSLR concept, as it will allow DSLR users to shoot 10fps videos while utilizing the continuous phase-detect autofocus feature. Also, this particular feature is also available when recording Full HD AVCHD video as well.
Basically, the A55 will utilize the 16.2 megapixel sensor, while the A33 will come with the 14.2 megapixel Exmor APS HD CMOS sensors. Also, both the DSLRs will be equipped with a 3-inch LCD screen, that is fully articulated and has 920k-dot.
Well the A55 will be pushed out this coming October for $750, while the A33 is set to take on the market this coming September for $650. Take a closer look at these magnificent cameras:
