Apparently, more consumers are installing water softeners at their homes, whereby these devices are responsible in ‘softening’ hard water. Generally, conventional water softeners utilize salt or chemical in its system, while high tech water softeners use powerful magnets. Also, conventional water softeners in the market produce a rather odd taste in the water, and some common water softeners even produce a rather slippery and slimy feel in the water. Personally, I would opt for a water softener that offers zero maintenance for at least a decade of usage. On the other hand, the respective water softener should also be very easy to use, and it must produce water that is odorless and tasteless, as these attributes are the natural characteristics of water. Also, I wouldn’t mind purchasing a water softener which is a little bit more expensive than conventional water softeners in the market. However, the respective water softener should be able to provide me with an excellent return of investment, after several years of usage. Well I already have several good brands in my mind for these water softeners, and based on my personal usage experience, these water softeners did meet my expectations. So do you use a water softener at home?
